Pivotal is developing a highly detailed biodiversity data set, providing quality-controlled analytics that reveals measurable gains. They connect these gains to financial tools like sustainability bonds and biodiversity credits, directing funds to impactful projects. Their mission is to supply data that drives investments benefiting nature. Using advanced technology, they capture, analyze, and verify biodiversity data to track real changes. With €5.6M from top European VCs, Pivotal is expanding to address global environmental challenges and transform how the world restores nature.

The Challenge

Following Pivotal’s seed round investment from some of Europe’s leading VCs and advocates for a better planet, they needed to fill two senior operational voids within the the business.

DE&I is huge on Pivotal’s agenda and a key requirement to numi Search Ventures was to provide Senior Female C-Level Talent for their Shortlist.

The roles were fully remote but, ideally they required someone in the UK or +/-2hrs within Europe.

Pivotal are here to build an institution that changes the way the world collaboratively. Working on one of the largest problems our planet is facing, and the only way they can do that is by bringing together a team who is passionate about restoring nature in new and exciting ways.

numi Search Ventures was assigned with finding a leaders who had seen B2B Growth. People who have the ability to get their hands dirty and provide excellence and leadership as the business grows.

The Outcome

Off the back of a detailed kickoff and number of subsequent meetings with Pivotal, we defined several Research segments and Leadership archetypes to go to market with.

Once we had identified the right people, we set about building bespoke and personal campaigns to open doors and have conversations with them.

We created longlists and shortlists to provide the Pivotal with all the necessary insight for them to make educated decisions.

From there we managed the entire recruitment process and communication to ensure that we secured the right people for Pivotal.
